Comet Zero

The Comet Zero is produced by Comet as a recreational 11 feet 4 inch sailing boat. She is ideal for beginners and includes a jib and spinnaker, which gives beginners valuable experience. She can be sailed as a single-handed dinghy just using the main, or compete in junior races with jib and spinnaker. The Comet Zero is an all-round small dinghy that can be rowed, motored, sailed single-handed or with a crew of two.

The Comet Zero is fairly small and, as such, is probably best suited for junior or single-handed sailing. The Comet Zero is nicely laid out, easy to manouvre and has some stowage lockers built in. As a general purpose, flexible dinghy the Comet Zero is a good choice.

She also offers good experience for junior sailors with a full set of sails to deal with, however it is not one of the larger junior racing fleets and this is worth considering if your children are hoping to race against similar class boats.
